Publication ethics

Apuntes Universitarios Research Journal is committed to ensuring ethics in publications and the quality of articles in the academic community. Likewise, it declares its conformity to the international criteria of ethics in publication given by the Committee on Publication Ethics: COPE.

Plagiarism is strictly prohibited and documents that are plagiarized will be deleted or not published in the Apuntes Universitarios Journal. As part of the signed statement by the authors, they must guarantee that the articles and associated materials are original and that they do not infringe on anyone's copyright. The authors also have to justify that the article was agreed upon by all the authors and was not presented or published previously. The journal also works with Unicheck - Plagiarism Control software.

In the case of plagiarism in the manuscript or some other ethical concern, the article will be returned to the author, who will be notified of the problem. A report will be issued to the editorial committee
