Carrera dual: ¿Estudiante deportista o deportista estudiante?

El deporte, la salud y la educación son pilares que permitirán a todo deportista llevar un estilo de vida saludable y que deben ser prioridad de todo sistema deportivo y de salud pública. En la actualidad, buscar la manera de converger entre la práctica deportiva de rendimiento y los estudios son un reto que el mundo del deporte ha comenzado a darle mayor importancia, a la vista del futuro profesional del deportista (Abelkalns et al., 2021; Mateo-Orcajada et al., 2022). En tal sentido, la carrera dual definida como “La combinación del deporte y los estudios, (e incluso su prepración laboral), que ayuda a los deportistas a lograr sus objetivos académicos y deportivos, vivir una vida privada satisfactoria, manteniendo la salud y el bienestar” (Stambulova et al., 2015, p. 24) viene siendo la alternativa sustancial para el desarrollo profesional académico y deportivo del atleta.Downloads
