artificial intelligence, education, teaching, learning, Covid-19, technology.Abstract
This research consists of a literary review of scientific publications in the area of Artificial Intelligence, belonging to scientific journals found in the SCImago Journal & Country Rank portal. The information search was carried out using keywords and titles of research published from 1970 to 2020 in the Scopus database. The objective of this article is to identify the contributions of AI to education over the last five decades, to present the scientific journals with the highest impact rates in the area of AI over the last 10 years and to analyse the role that AI will play in post-Covid-19 education. The results show significant contributions of the Artificial Intelligence in education using neural network techniques, big data, computer vision, virtual digital assistants, automatic learning, language processing and predictive analysis. The United States has the largest number of scientific journals (seven) dedicated to the area of AI. Finally, we highlight the need to involve AI in the teaching and learning process in a post Covid-19 education.Downloads
